The magic of Opal never gets old and this beautifully proportioned round cluster ring from around 1915 is a perfect example. It is centered by a striking Australian Coober Pedy Opal cabochon, semi translucent with flashes of blue/green & purple/blue. They are very pretty pastel hues which contrast with the bright sparkle of the tightly fitted scalloped surround of the 12 white old cut diamonds. Turn it over and the underbezel will delight also, with a handsawn graduated design of hearts & crosses.
